Current mood: blessed Visual Artist Sarah Riley's newest endeavor, the "Africa Unite Project", will take her from the heart of Brooklyn to the streets of Senegal. For seven days in mid-May, Riley will film aspects of local community life in real time. Collaborating with roots reggae band, Meta and the Cornerstones, Riley will incorporate Meta's message of peace, love, and harmony through the concept of worldwide unification now. The filmwork debuts at Meta and the Cornerstones outdoor evening performance on June 21, at Think Coffee, 1 Bleecker St., 9pm. Currently listening: Forward Music |
